Curious World Maps is a sophisticated multi-layered animation environment. You can animate almost every aspect of your design using a full key frame system with an easy-to-operate graphical interface. With World Maps you can create animation that ranges from subtle fades of colour and label write-ons to breathtaking zooms from outer space to street corner. You can add any number of different graphic layers, including images or movies with or without alpha channel, video clips and text.

World Maps has an intuitive multi-layer stacking system that lets you work with each layer individually while seeing the whole picture. You can output your animations straight to video, or as movie files or sequences of images. World Maps makes it easy to output in multiple formats without any repeated work - so you can re-purpose a broadcast news story instantly for re-use on a news Web site.
By adding animation you can really make your maps tell a story. Relate your locality to the city, state, country or region with animated zooms, fly in over terrain modelled in accurate relief, or add animated graphics and objects to illustrate the unfolding action on a battlefield or disaster site. For really dramatic effects you can use optional high-resolution satellite data: World Maps registers the satellite imagery accurately to your map, allowing you to fade in as you zoom to pinpoint the location of a story.
And with World Maps' template facility, you can save your animations as part of your customised style sheets, ensuring that you can re-create the same animated impact instantly, whenever you choose new map locations.
